A mid face lift lifts the cheek fat pads that have drifted down with time, softening the nose-to-mouth lines and a tired look. Combined with lower blepharoplasty (lower eyelid surgery), it also smooths eye bags and removes excess skin, restoring a fresh, rested contour between the eyelid and the cheek.
Because the cheek and lower eyelid age together, treating them together gives a smoother, more natural result than either alone. The scar is hidden just below the lower eyelashes.

Recovery
- Sleep with your head up for 2 nights and use cold packs, wrapped in a clean cloth, for the first 24 hours.
- Use the eye ointment we give you twice a day for 2 weeks.
- Contact lenses are usually fine again from about 2 weeks.
- Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for 4–6 weeks.
The result is a brighter, more rested look, with the eyes and cheeks working together again.
